Hello all… When selecting colors for their wedding, many brides try to “match” certain colors together.  One easy color scheme that has a major impact is called the “Monochromatic” color scheme.  What does that mean?  Having a monochromatic color scheme would be the use of various tints, shades, and hues of one single color.

This picture depicts the various shades of one color red.  Creating a wedding color scheme of this sort creates drama and can give the room a wow factor.  Lighting plays an important role in this type of design.  Up-lighting around the room has a large impact.  Please view examples of different Monochromatic designs below.

Hello all!  I hope that everyone made it through the hurricane safely and was able to enjoy Labor Day!  For the brides who are stuck on color selections for their big day, this post is sure to give you a jolt of inspiration. Drumrolll please……. Well hello to all of you.  I hope that everyone is enjoying this beautiful day and planning for the Easter bunny on Sunday. ) Here is a bit of inspiration for the day – “Modern Green”.  I came across this inspiration board and fell in love with it.  The colors - black and white create a very modern and contemporary mix with green as the splash of vibrant color!  This is a creative spin on a summer wedding.  I know we all like for our weddings and events to be special with a unique touch.
