Mustache Mania!
Hello to you…We are all about planning fun and memorable weddings. If you are going to have a Photo booth at your wedding, you must purchase a few props. I came across a vendor who makes mustache props – Whisker Works. These props are highly durable as they are made of plastic and can easily be cleaned with soap and water. What a fun way to celebrate your big day! Your guests will have many personalities shine through as they transform their look with such a simple yet fun prop.

No commentsFavors with Flavor
Hello to all! Gone are the days of giving your wedding guests “tchotchke/knick-knack” type favors such as bookmarks or matchbooks or sewing kits. All guests like favors with flavor. These type of favors will not go to waste or disappoint your guests. If you take it one step further and make the favor display or presentation have as much of the WOW factor as the rest of your decor, then you have hit a home run for the favor selection for your wedding. Of course we have to give you some inspiration to get you started in the right direction!

No commentsBridesmaid Style…
Hello all. I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend! In our blog entry entitled, ”Boutonniere with a Twist”, we discussed selecting a slightly different boutonniere for each of the Groomsmen to add a bit of uniqueness to your wedding. Now, let’s do the same for the Bridesmaids. There are many ways to set the Bridesmaids apart. One of my favorite options is to select the same dress for all of your Bridesmaids, but allow them to select a different accessory for their hair. In the picture below, each Bridesmaid has used her individual style to accent her look. Love it!!!…

No commentsRing Bearer – What Shall He Carry?
Happy Monday! The Ring Bearer is a cute little guy between the ages of four to seven who carries the wedding ring(s) in the processional. The pillow is normally white and the rings are metal or foil copies. The Best Man and Maid of Honor hold the real rings. With that, why not add some pizzazz or an unique touch to what the Ring Bearer carries? You have worked really hard to add that special touch to every aspect of your wedding, let’s do the same for the Ring Bearer. Below are a few really cute and unique ideas:
- Robin’s Egg Nest - Garden Side Studio is a designer on Etsy that offers a Robin’s Egg Nest that would be a perfect accessory for your Ring Bearer. The ribbons and eggs come in different colors to match your wedding theme.
- Ring Bearer’s Bowls – Paloma’s Nest offers a beautifully made small ceramic bowl for the Ring Bearer to carry. It can be engraved with a special saying and used later on to hold jewelry or as a keepsake.
- Ring Bearer Flower Pillow – Your floral designer can make a pillow shape out of flowers and adorn it with a ribbon to put a spin on the traditional Ring Bearer Pillow.

Enjoy!!!

Emplume is a creative company that offers arrangements of “ high quality feathers, preserved floral, luxurious ribbon and a bit of sparkle into the most fabulous of bouquets”! They match this beautiful look with boutonnieres, corsages, ring bearer pillows, etc. Check them out! I was pleasantly surprised!

No commentsSex and the City….
Hello everyone! Ok, so I have to admit that I did not watch the ”Sex and the City” television show, however I watched the movie a few weeks ago and loved it! I laughed so hard that I had tears coming down my face. How is this relevant? Ok, Carrie’s wedding dress was “over-the-top fabulous”. It was a bit much for Southern Maryland, but very inspiring nonetheless.
) Her birdcage veil design was beautiful! I came across a vendor on Etsy.com that creates that same look -LoBoheme. A few of her items are shown below. They are very chic and very affordable.
Happy Shopping!!!

No commentsA Boutonniere with a Twist…
Hello there…When it comes to boutonnieres for the Groomsmen, automatically, the thought is to give them all the same boutonniere design and just make the Groom’s boutonniere larger. If you are up for something different, why not make each boutonniere a bit different? Just make sure that the flowers in each boutonniere ties into the Bridesmaids flowers to keep the design concept flowing. See an example of varying boutonnieres within the same design theme below…
