Hello all…. We were so blessed to share in the planning and union of a very special couple. April and Kevin’s vision of a fun, energetic, yet elegant wedding were fulfilled on July 3, 2011 at the Solas Restaurant located in Raleigh, NC. The couple lives in Greensboro, NC and have family all throughout the East Coast as well as the Midwest. They wanted to host their wedding at a venue that was unique and in a location with many opportunities for family activities. The colors of the wedding were teal blue and dark red. The bridesmaids wore flowing strapless dresses from David’s Bridal. While the groomsmen were decked out in black tuxedos. The ceremony was held on the rooftop under cabanas that presented a relaxing yet elegant feel. The guests traveled to the second floor for dinner and dancing. The most popular item on the menu was the “Cream of Crab” soup – a special selection for the guests from Maryland and Virginia. The DJ kept the guests on the dance floor adding to a night full of fun and laughter. Thank you M. Clay Photography for a such amazing photos of April and Kevin’s wedding day.

Hello! There were 111 guests in attendance. Yes, there was enough space for all of the guests to sit comfortably. Three table had to be placed alongside the dancefloor, but we placed the kids and younger guests at those tables. It worked out perfectly. The staff/service/food were all wonderful. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive and courteous. Lauren is great to work with. She is very accommodating and wants the day to run smoothly. The best of luck to you! )

Hi,am looking at having my wedding at solas.can you tell me approx how many guests were at this wedding? was there enough seating?, and whether appox 110 guests would be too many for this space? also, how was the staff/service/food?
