Hello all,

Please welcome Christine and Henry Flores.  This beautiful and lively couple were wed on May 24, 2014 at Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center located on the campus of the University of Maryland College Park.

Christine and Henry selected a “Fairy-tale Garden” theme which consisted of pastel colors, crystals, and gold accents.  Christine and her mom had a hand in the details including the stationery, favors, and gifts for the children. Christine wore a beautiful dress accented with chiffon details that looked like a Fairy Princess. The bridesmaids each wore a strapless mint green dress. Henry and the groomsmen all wore gray  tuxedos.  All of the floral decor consisted of pastel colors and supported the theme beautifully.

The day started with hair and makeup at Christine’s mother’s house.  Christine was surrounded by family and friends as she anxiously prepared for her big day!

Christine’s mom helped her to get into her wedding dress.

Voila!  Perfection!

Henry got ready at home and then traveled to the Marriott on campus to greet his mother and groomsmen.

Beautiful birdcages, made by the bride’s mom,  greeted the guests as they entered the venue.

Guests were serenaded with the amazing sounds of a harp, played by Monika Vasey.

Christine was so excited as she made her entrance to the ceremony.

We are in love with this amazing archway made by DaVinci Florist.

Henry was so moved when he saw Christine for the first time.  This was so sweet.

This is one of our favorite photos – Christine getting love from her adorable flower girls.

Henry, Christine and the bridal party walked out to the garden to take photos.  The garden was in bloom and served as the perfect backdrop for a Garden themed wedding.

On to the reception!  It’s all in the details. We love the crystal stemmed vase and opulent centerpiece made by DaVinci Florist.

 

Christine’s mom made the cutest gift boxes for the children.
